Stratford Talent Showcase
To celebrate 50 years of the London Borough of Newham
Saturday 1st August 2015, from 12 noon - 5pm
at St. John's Church Yard*, Stratford E15 1NG
Like Britain's Got Talent, we're open to any acts whether music (solos, groups, choirs), dance (please be aware that the performance area is on grass), spoken word or anything else suitable for open-air performance in a family environment in a Church Yard. Each Act should be no longer than 7 minutes.

St. John's will provide a drum kit, keyboard, basic sound system with fold-back (max 3 mics) + inputs for guitar + any other electric/electro-acoustic instruments.
For backing tracks you can bring a CD or music in MP3 format.

Funeral Service For Revd Inez Reid
The funeral service for Revd Inez Reid will take place at 11am on Tuesday 9th June at All Saints Church, Monson Road, London, SE14 5D

This will be followed by a 2pm burial at Grove Park Cemetery, Marvels Lane, Grove Park, SE12 9PU (about a half a hour drive from the church).
Everyone is then invited back to the church hall for refreshments afterwards.
Clergy are invited to process in behind the coffin. Dress code - clerical collars but not robes.
Please notify nicola.vidamour@gmail.com if you are planning to do this so that enough seats can be reserved.
Floral tributes are welcome.
There will also be a thanksgiving service on Saturday 20th June at 2pm at St. John's Church, Broadway, Stratford, London, E15 1NG followed by refreshments at Bryant Street Methodist Church, E15 4RU - a few minutes walk away.
